The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table
Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces increasing in strength within the urban setting.
Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure are included.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.
The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.
Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the enemy group.
An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.
The antagonist then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:
- The rogue, as the companion and best friend, seeks revenge.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile location.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
- But, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the group reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by the family.
This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of the antagonist.
Future Episodes
Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the other eight participants to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.
Audiences can look forward to discovering which characters will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
